While it’s important to check a child’s bag of goodies for tampered candy and small weapons, this year, officials warn parents to check for marijuana products, too. The Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission is reminding parents to check their kid’s candy specifically for the popular marijuana edibles, which can look like candy. This is the first Halloween that the product is legal in the commonwealth.
